How To Rock Out

Suggested Beats

We have taken the time to pair some of our favorite albums with some of our favorite recipes,

and it’s really easy to listen to the albums while you cook. Here’s how to rock out:

Look for our  SUGGESTED BEATS BOX on every page. (HINT: it looks like this one.)

In the SUGGESTED BEATS BOX, we have done the obvious – suggested beats to pair with the recipe.

Now, you can “Rock Out With Your Crock Out” (as previously promised)

by simply

clicking on the album image or on the album name.

You’ll then be directed to Amazon, where you can listen to clips of the songs & download them (safely and securely) for your listening pleasure.  Occasionally, we may direct you straight to the band’s website for a download.  We do this if the band is offering a freebie, or if we can skip the middle man and get all the money to where it belongs – the band.

It’s that simple. So – let’s get to it!   Find your favorite recipe (start HERE), download the SUGGESTED BEATS and get ready to ROCK OUT WITH YOUR CROCK OUT!

Why we created Reci-Beats:

We think that music and food go hand in hand, or mouth and ear.  Cooking without music is like eating without utensils.  Scratch that.  Tacos, nachos, and quesadillas are all perfect examples of eating without utensils.

Hmmmm… nachos…

Where were we?  Music, that’s right.  Music, and its importance in the kitchen.

So we’ve taken our favorite recipes and paired them with some of our favorite beats, and made them both available for you here on Reci-Beats. It may be music you are familiar with, but maybe you just haven’t listened to it in awhile. (Like a classic Otis Redding album that makes you just want to sit on a dock somewhere and whistle, while enjoying a classic slice of quiche.) Or it may be a not-so-well-known band that we discovered along the way, and we want to share with you all because they are so good. (Like the dozens of bands we discovered in our travels around the country – paired with one of our favorite new dishes we discovered while traveling too!)

So let’s get started!  Crank up the volume, heat up the oven, and get ready to ROCK OUT WITH YOUR CROCK OUT!
